Tigers Are Forever Page 5
She tentatively glanced up to her men and purred when she saw the pride and love shining in their gazes.
“Knew you’d make a stunning tiger, sweetheart.”
That was her caveman. She ran her gaze over Jaxson, her big alpha male. These last six months had been wonderful. Jaxson had spent every minute he could with her, and Cooper took leave from work so he could, too. She’d gotten to know them both extremely well before she agreed to bond with them.
Ebony knew the gleam currently in Jaxson’s eyes meant he’d gone into what Cooper had told her was his “caveman mode”. He was proud of himself for claiming her as his. Probably would brag it was his blood that made her such a beautiful animal. While she adored the dominant lover side of Jaxson, she cherished the romantic caring side of him. He’d drop her off and collect her from work each day. Yesterday it had been with a dozen red roses in hand. She guessed it had been Cooper who’d suggested the flowers. It was Jaxson that made sure she had everything she could need physically: food, shelter, water. Cooper on the other hand focused on her emotional needs. It was Cooper who would take her to visit her parents and grandma’s graves. It was also Cooper who would sit through chick flicks with her and let her cry on his shoulder. Jaxson had tried once, but he just couldn’t handle her crying and not being about to fix what upset her.
“Do you feel all right, baby? You’ve gone real still and quiet. It shouldn’t hurt to shift forms.”
Yep, there was her caretaker, Cooper. Purring as she shook her head, she slowly padded over to them where they sank their fingers deep into her fur. She stretched and arched against them as her heart sang. She would never be alone again. For every single day of the rest of her life, she’d have these two wonderful Siberian Tiger shape shifters by her side to care and love her forever.
